The North Shore Chorale is a new community chorus beginning its first season and performance this fall of 2019 with the goal of presenting high quality, vibrant, exciting programs of choral music for audiences in the north shore area.

The chorus presently consists of women and men from several

different towns in the north shore area of Boston.  Rehearsals are held every

Monday evening at 7:30 pm in the Congregational Chapel, 1 Chapel Lane in

Manchester, MA. We are currently working on music for our 2019 December

           concert.

The chorus consists of two groups, the full chorus and a smaller chamber chorus.  Auditions are required for the chamber chorus but not required for the full chorus.  Contact us for more information about auditions and for joining as a non-auditioned member.  New members are welcome.

The repertoire of the chorus is broad and eclectic, consisting of a variety of

classical and popular music, modern and traditional pieces, and familiar as well

           as new works.

The chorus is under the direction of Fred Broer who holds a Doctorate degree in music from Boston University and is former director of the Wakefield Festival Chorus and the North Shore Conservatory of Music at Endicott College.  Mr. Broer has over twenty years of experience teaching music and directing ensembles at the college level.
